PASTOR ANDY BARNES - Pastor

Pastor Andy Barnes is shown here with his wife, Marsha, who is a former Lady Buc All-American and ETSU asst. basketballcoach;

They are the parents of Andrew (22), Jordan (19), Anna Joyce (17) and John Reed (13). Pastor Andy grew up in Gray, TN where he was a Daniel Boone High School athlete and then became an asst coach at Boone, Unicoi, Drake and University of Kentucky; Pastor Andy was also head basketball coach at Truett-McConnell College in GA. He has been active in the FCA as director East TN/SW VA in the 90’s and then Pastored New Life Church in Middle TN for 12 years

REV. JEFF DEBOARD - Associate Pastor and Student Minister

Jeff is a native of Southwestern Virginia and in 2002 answered the call to enter fulltime ministry. You will find Jeff frequently visiting with home bounds, calling on those in nursing and hospital facilities, and counseling benevolent cases. Jeff has recently become our new Student Minister.

He and his wife Anita have two sons (Tyler and Evan) and reside in Gate City.

ANDREA SHEPPARD - Minister of Music and Children

Andrea brings with her years of experience and dedication, having served the Christian community of Scott County in every role imaginable. Just witness Andrea at work, and you will be immediately inspired by her infectious enthusiasm to serve the Lord. We are truly blessed to have her with us at First Baptist Church.

She and her husband Ron have one son - Chad and reside in Weber City
